Jiaen Cai established his Algorithmic Modular System as his core design. The AMS is comprised of base layers (10), components (100), and extra components (1000). Much like a Lego set, assembling the pieces requires interchangeable panels and fastening mechanisms from zippers to buttons. Highlights for this lookbook included a sleek bandeau, peel away fold over bottoms, one shoulder tops, draped panels, extra long blouse cuffs, waistband attachments, a tote bag front, boxy or breezy wide leg palazzo pants, and minimalist boots.
