Vivienne Westwood exhibited her 2014 Spring Summer Mens Runway Collection at Milan, Italy. The British designer took inspiration from Indian Rajas, Hindu culture, Persian and Moroccan influences with an injection of a politically charged Bradley Manning figure. Denim and jeanswear pieces explored patchwork fabrics, tapered slouchy relaxed fits, rolled up hems and plaid printed jeans or trousers. Graphic prints, colonial plaid or checks and traditional motifs complemented well with luxurious fabrics such as silk and lightweight threads. Trendy design elements seen were layover pullover knits, oversized one piece shirt-all coverall, button bib fronts, modern harem pants, ombre gradients with tie up waist shirts and collar fold hems. Eye popping colors were Olivenite yellow, Cream Blush pink, Skydiver blue, Pale Banana yellow and Rooibos Tea red. From the presentation, we select only the top looks and our favorite pieces.
