Denim & Jeanswear 2013 Pre Fall Womens
Check out the 2013 Pre Fall presentations on womenswear. We have scoured and selected for you the various denim apparel and jeanswear pieces featured in New York. Browse our top picks. See by Chloé featured loose and easy silhouettes. Foliage leaves graphic print patterns showed up in a motorcycle biker jacket, top and jeanswear. Solid ensemble pieces, such as a trench coat and sweatpants pleated trousers, were paired off for a monochromatic look. Meanwhile, T by Alexander Wang focused on slimmer designs with crop top bralettes and minimalistic tops. A saturated color jeans and leather rider trousers combined well with these. Thakoon Panichgul’s Thakoon Addition brand, mixed chic designs with patchwork fabrics, chunky knits and sleek separates. Trendy denim pieces included a multi-panel moto jacket, a cut off liner shorts, a striped tunic top and a side paneled skinny jean pants. Knitwear showed off with a casual jumper sweater, ribbed sleeve cargo pocket top and a sweatpants. Duly noted was a striped skinny trouser with a solid crop double breasted blazer outfit. On the other hand, Theyskens Theory went back to essentials. Designer Olivier Theyskens focused on denim and jeanswear pieces with that slightly ombre look and gradient fades. We saw a sleeveless denim dress, collarless denim shirt, classic slim jeans and printed pants paired off with a cropped knit sweater jumper, loose fit leather trousers and open button plaid sleeveless shirt. Finally, Tibi had a couple of notables. Amy Smilovic presented jeanswear with a colorful digital printed pair of the New York downtown cityscape. Casual tapered slim pants came about with what looks like a houndstooth zigzag pattern. (1-2) See by Chloé
