Juun.J 2013-2014 Fall Winter Mens Runway Collection

Seoul, Republic of Korea based fashion label, Juun.J, showcased their 2013-2014 Fall Winter Mens Runway Collection early this year during Paris Fashion Week. The catwalk looks caught our attention due to the creation of fresh silhouettes, deconstruction of traditional mens clothing, an elevated approach to streetwear tailoring and fashion forward designs which we heartily support.

The underlying theme for this upcoming season relied on huge oversized cuts, clear cut multi-paneled fabrics, heavy textured layering, metallic finishes, dominant black ensembles, sophisticated military designs, graphic novel style animal artistic accents and a unifying flame shape lollipop balloon mold silhouetted top. Notable denim and jeanswear pieces featured a dark tone jacket, a long sectional pea coat and a biker lapeled one piece jumpsuit. Outerwear pieces were outstanding and indicated a reinvention of the varsity jacket, bomber jacket, overcoat, trench coat, motorcycle rider jacket and even knitwear. From the presentation, we selected the top looks and our favorite pieces.
