Denim & Jeanswear 2013-14 Fall Winter Mens II MBFW Tokyo
Set your trendsetting ways through the 2013-2014 Fall Winter runways on womenswear. We have scoured and selected for you the various denim apparel and jeanswear pieces featured on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo – Japan Fashion Week catwalks. Designer Takashi Aoki and MACARONIC showcased some fashion forward denim jeans designs. One pair was a multi-panel fabric ensemble with an inner dark indigo pant and an outer retro faded light blue jeans with an open thigh attachment and tie down extra garment on the waist. Another was a dark indigo denim motorcycle biker jeans with streaks of textured fabric wrapping the leg. Other cool pieces were a slim sporty trouser with side pockets and a printed short – cropped pants set. Outerwear was a feast in the eyes with prints, multi-paneled patchwork designs and garment fusions such as a waistcoat vest and hooded sweatshirt in one piece. On the other hand, Mercibeaucoup continued on with its Brazilian fiesta concoction with lots of layering, prints, soccer ball themes and ragged rag hair accessories. Denim jeans explored slanted weaved panels and balloon thighs with tapered fits. For NITZ SCHNEIDER, the collection was an extension of the womenswear pieces with motorcycle biker slim pants in lower leg textured plaid paneling. One unique piece looked like a denim kilt and rider jacket in one piece combo mix. Finally, Sise had their denim jeans constructed as a slouchy fit and wide leg with classic indigo washes. Other pieces offered were sweatpants with cargo pockets and roll up cropped pants in multi-paneled color blocking segments in bright red and plaid. (1-2) MACARONIC
