KATO’ Top Picks 2013-2014 Mens Fall Winter from Project Las Vegas
With the vision of denim craftsman Hiroshi Kato, the textile tradition from Japan’s oldest city and cultural hub, Kyoto, and a long standing American made production process, the KATO’ brand carries the best of both worlds. Our friends from the showroom booth, courtesy of Muneyuki Ishii and Yu Fukushima, kindly gave us a sneak peak at some highlights from KATO’ 2013-2014 Fall Winter Mens Collection during the Project Tradeshow – Magic Market Week in Las Vegas last week. From the stand selection, we curated and hand picked our top denim fashion pieces for the season. Notable elements and design features for menswear comprised of a unique vintage wash and whiskered fade in a more comfortable denim fabric, pure raw Japanese denim in vibrant orange stitching and distinctive detailing, a softer twill in grayish green blue wash in a jean trouser look, a striped or smooth textured material giving an effortless wear and casual yet warm looking garment. Furthermore, we love seeing the vintage denim jacket with a unique front left pocket, an inner layer of fleece lined thermal and the classic cinch back.
