Artificial Grunge was the theme for Cheap Monday’s 2013-2014 Fall Winter Runway Collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Stockholm. Chaotic styling and layering came forth to reflect a rebellious grass roots youth movement. For womenswear, the highlights were tattered, colored camouflage or spotted destroyed denim jeans, 1960s style tops, used worn out cardigans or jumper sweaters, lace tops and flannel checks over bustier tops or dress. For menswear, layering with a mix tech shiny fabrics or knits came into view. Tattered ripped spots and paint stains on jeans were evident. Overall, colors ranged from bright and dusty whites, earthy greens and dark plums. From the presentation, we selected only the top looks and our favorite pieces.
